"The lithograph bears very fine vignettes of the 3 principal marine sciences, astronomy, geography, and mathematics, a shipwreck with a drowned sean, widow and children as the "good angels" of the Marine Society stand there for comfort and relief of the family. There is also a vignette of a female Indian with a bow and arrow with a human head on the ground pierced with an arrow. Finally there is a scene of the City of New York as seen from Governor's Island in 1770."
