Scope and Content

Collection of letters written to Dr. Frederic C. Paffard from 1890-1958, from his time as a student in NY to his time living at Stone Acres Farm in Stonington. The majority of the correspondence is from Helen Adams Paffard c. 1905 concerning their engagement. Additional correspondence comes from Frederic's parents, his son (Fred Jr.), Yale University (re. Jonathan Edwards) and Coert duBois.
