Transcription of Georgia "Georgie" P. Babcock's letters from abroad, 1856-1857, with an introduction and afterword by Sarah K. Torodash and Mary Thacher, 1998. Georgia Babcock (1837-1910) was the daughter of Courtland and Elizabeth Babcock. She spent a year traveling in Europe with family friends - Charles P. Williams Sr. (1804-1879), Charles P.
