Scope and Content

Business Ledger of Dr. C.E. Brayton, a prominent Stonington physician and pharmacist at the end of the nineteenth century. This ledger documents all the sales in his pharmacy at 77 Main Street (corner of High and Main streets) beginning October 5, 1882 to April 29, 1885. Some of his entries include candy, pills, lotion, cigars, vitamins and minerals, and brandy. A section of ledger paper has been tipped in, in the back of the book by Dr. Brayton.
