Collection of manuscripts relating to the life of Jerome S. Anderson (1843-1929). There are original documents written by Jerome, military paperwork from the Civil War, a photograph in his uniform, and newspaper articles relating to himself and his family.
-Reward of Merit awarded to Jerome S. Anderson by Ms. Sheffield from when he attended her school
-A collection of seven themes, each about two pages, most likely written by Jerome while he was attending Ms. Sheffield's school. They are undated but a few are numbered and have the following titles: History of a Pen, Nicholas the Czar, Politeness, History of Connecticut, Never Give Up, On Happiness, and Winter.
