Scope and Content

Deed between Benjamin Pomeroy and Rev. Jerome S. Anderson (1805-1846) for a parcel of land with a dwelling house and barn in Stonington. Land description reads in part: "Bounded northerly on lands of theheirs of Amos Clark deceased and lands of Thomas Noyes, Easterly on lands of the heirs of William Clark deceased and lands of Major Paul Babcock and southerly on lands of said Babcock and Andrew Pendleton's heirs and westerly on lands of said Pendleton and Joshua Robinson containing one hundred forty five acres, more or less, with a dwelling house and barn thereon..."
