The caption reads: "Stonington, CT., October 17, 1985 - Picking up after Gloria - One of the few remaining sail boats beached on the rocks during hurricane Gloria is being removed from Stonington Harbor in Stonington, CT. This 35 ft 6 ton sailboat, one of many washed up on the rocks is considered to be a total loss by the owner. The salvage barge belongs to Gallup Marine Services of Point Judith, Rhode Island."Collection
