Business account book for the Charles Ryon store from 1913 to 1923. This book has many different entries recording stocks, payments, cash received, estates settled, inventories of the shop and business expenses. On page 4 is the estate of Bridget Ledwith with expenditures and debts paid, as well as the cost of her funeral. On page 7 is a list of people who hired the Ryon automobile, where he took them, the cost and whether or not it was paid for the year 1916. Page 10 denotes the cost of installing wagon scales in his shop. Page 29 is a list of taxes paid each year with totals done on William E. Ryon letterhead. Expenses beginning in 1917 start on page 39. Receipts, stock certificates and scratch paper is tucked between the pages throughout the account book.Collection
