Scope and Content

A collection of letters addressed to Charles O. Ryon from 1917 to 1925. The two first pieces in the folder belonged to Charles O. Ryon's father, Charles S. Ryon and are dated at the end of the 19th century. Most of the letters are written during World War I, and talk of the simplicity of town life here in Stonington. Included is a copy of the syllabus of Lectures on Military Hygiene and Sanitation as taught at Brown University in 1917.
