Three booklets dated 1888, 1891 and 1894 issued by the New York, Providence and Boston Railroad Company. These schedules are for the exclusive use of railroad employees and each give an in effect date. In addition to the time tables for each station, the second half of these booklets includes instructions and regulations for employees. There are rules on how to use signals, change the tracks at the junction in Stonington, using the electric block signals, the brake system and hand gestures for along the tracks. Later copies have a blank Telegraph form and instructions on telegraphic orders.Collection
