A small collection of court documents, removed from the Subject Files in February 2019. 1. New London County Court, November 3, 1785 - defendant refuses to make a plea in case between Thomas Robinson and Eliphalet Buddington. 2. statement submitted by Samuel Chapman, October 23, 1816 relaying that he was ignorant of tax laws concerning his chimney. There are a number of mathmatical computations on the reverse side. 3. New London County Court, July 15, 1828. Case between Henry Prentice & Co. and Mason Rogers, one of which did not appear in court and the court settled in default of appearance in honor of the plaintiff. 4. Execution order for Andrew Hagan of New London to be sent to Debtor's prison, 1828. 5. Payment of debt, Fairfield County, between Daniel HIll and Noah Olmstead, 1832.
