Scrapbook, collection of clipppings of the newspaper column "Sights... from a Grand Street Window" written by Jerome S. Anderson after his retirement from the Stonington Publishing Co., 1939-1942. Column includes the simple comings and goings of borough residents, identified by name.
Bound pages, missing hard cover, handwritten note on front page reads: "[?] from J. S. Anderson III, April 1, 1964. [?] Fairbrothers, Charlie & Dean gave to me 11/81. These were written weekly by the late Jerome S. Anderson after his retirement from the Publishing Co. He was more or less confined to his home on Grand Street. Probably from the personal collection of Jerome S. Anderson."
