A black and white photograph of the old Williams Burying Ground on Shewville Road, taken by George E. Tingley in 1903. The photograph shows a group of stones, and a monument on the far right with a small obelisk. A farm is visible through the trees on the left. Top section reads: Am quite sure this is the old WIlliams Burying Ground on the Shewville Road just before the Morgan Farm on the corner. These stones (also the bodies) I understand were all moved (except one, whose heir or heirs would not pay for the moving, which is still there, 1958) to Elm Grove Cemetery, and are on the Williams Lot, northwest part, near the River, where now also my wife Fannie Fish Noyes and her folks are buried.
