A deed from John Denison to Isaac Champlin for a lot of land. For $2,000 Isaac Champlin of Westerly, RI purchased "one certain lot of land lying and being on Stonington Point with two stones thereon and wharf thereon and adjoining, beginning at mear stone that stands on the north side of the landing at Stonington Point from thence west eight rods to the salt water, from thence north to the wharf belonging to Col. Isaac Williams from thence east eight rods to the street, from thence north to the first mentioned bound..."
Attached to this document was a sign affadavit claiming Jonathan Waldron was present when the original deed was signed in 1811. This second document is dated 1837.Collection
