Scope and Content

A letter written by Joseph Denison to his brother, Amos, in March of 1786. The letter reads: "Dear Sir, Mr. Manning, the bearer, is the gentleman I engaged with to make the grave stones you wanted, which he tells me he has finished, tho' I have not yet seen them. He wants his pay for them. You can settle with him perhaps best youself and let him know whether he shall bring ot the point in May or keep them till you call for them etc etc. This leaves me in good health and content and that it may find you and yours so is the sincere wish of your brother, Jos. Denison."
