Scope and Content

A typewritten manuscript, most likely written by Cindy Krouse, on the genealogy of William Washburn Moss, descendant of John Moss of England. From the introduction: "As will be seen in detail below, I have established beyond reasonable doubt that the John Moss from whom we are descended was living in Charlestown,Massachusetts, as early as 1637 and that in March 1638 he went with the Reverend John Davenport and Theophilus Eaton, Esquire, and their company to found what later became the New Haven Colony where he was one of the original signers of the Planters Covenant there on June 4, 1639. Thereafter, his existence and that of his descendants is completely documented, though not in great detail, down through my children and my nephews and nieces."
