A letter from Jeremiah Holmes written from Baltimore, August 11, 1815. He mentions the cost of food, and how they should not have come when they did, as the town was well supplied and no one wanted to purchase their wares. It seems Holmes was also selling some items. A few words could not be made out, but a transcription is included for ease.Collection
