Document refers to judgment in a law suit by Elias Button against Jonas Main in which Jonas' property will be levied to pay for the debt owed. Signed by William Saltonstall, town clerk. Reverse of the document describes Amos Collins, Samuel Peabody and Shepard Wheeler assessing 50 acres of land, with a description of said property. This property abutts a farm owned by Nathaniel Worden, mortgaged to Charles Phelps, Esq. Reverse is signed by Benjamin Clark, constable and dated January 8, 1786.
