A detail showing the damage of the Atwood/Monsanto Fire that took place on July 3, 2003, when contractors were working to convert the old factory into luxury condominiums. These photographs were probably taken a day or two later, once the fire had been extinguished, from Stonington Harbor. The damage to another home on Water Street is visible at the right side of the photograph.
