Photograph of a boy standing beside a well on Quiambog Cove, Stonington. Handwritten note on front identifies "Cemetery where Herbert Rathbun was buried Nov. 1958). Handwritten note from Charles F. Noyes on back reads: "This is the Northam boy and the well was in back of the Old Farm House that stood where Edgemere Manor or Seaport Manor now stands 1958 - along the West side of Quiambog Cove just about the Old Miner House (Grace Miner and sister Pauline Miner Anderson) halfway between Stonington and Mystic. The house that stood here up until the early 1900's was moved North alongside the Quiambog Road and is still there in 1958. This boy with several more children went to Quiambog school up at the head of the Cove and is now a dwelling 1958. This boy's family moved to Hartford a few years later and his father was in the Coal business. - C.F. Noyes - Nov. 14/58"Collection
