Collection of correspondence of Samuel B. Webb, secretary to the Committee of Correspondence in Connecticut. He fought at the Battle of Bunker Hill, served under General Washington and went on to command his own regiment (rising to Colonel) in the Highlands, where he was taken prisoner (and held for three years) by the British.
