Photograph from the Harry Northup album (2015.019.002), cyanotype with enlarged print. Caption from Harry Northrup: "A view of Stonington looking east from Wamphassuc Point. Three schooners are anchored in the harbor, and it appears two more are tied at the docks. Note, that the center schooner is so deep laden that her main deck is almost awash. The stone building behind the vessel is the original factory building where the Joslyn rifles were manufactured. The brick building that burned recently (Monsanto) wasn't even built at the time this picture was taken. Lastly, the beautiful skiff in the foreground, between the seaweed covered rocks, looks like it could be a Whitehall type rowing skiff."Collection
