A travel guide to the city of Paris, created as a portable reference for the first-time visitor. Made up of five sections: General Information (french money, hotels, consulates, churches, restaurants, getting around, post), Art Collections (Louvre, Grand Palais, Ecole des Beaux Arts, Dutuit Collection), Environs of Paris and Country Excursions (Chantilly, St. Cloud, Montmorency, Longchamp), Places of Worship (Notre-Dame, St. Roch, St. Denis, Sacre-Coeur), and Public Buildings and Other Places of Interest (Gobelins, Fountains, Eiffel Tower, Bois de Boulogne). The inside front and back covers have maps of the area, and there is also a section of maps at the very end of the book.
The front inside cover has an inscription that reads: P.D. Loper- Stonington, Conn, USA
A few of the pages have notes in pencil made by Priscilla Dixon Loper that records the date she visited certain places on her grand tour in 1924.
