"New Britain True Citizen" bound volume. Volume I, 1862 and some from 1863-1866 Contains a letter dated April 15, 1891 from New Britain by an unknown to L. M. Guernsey in back of binder. Note made on Volume II, No. 1 of "True Citizen" (January 3, 1863) "an ad inteim paper published by George D. Rand, architect while the printers of the "Citizen" were off to war. Last regular edition December 20th, 1862"
