Description

Cyanotype with color photo enlargement, the western shoreline of Stonington Borough photographed from Wamphassuc Point. Given to the Society by Harry Northup before his death. With note: "A view of Stonington looking across the harbor from Wamphassuc Point or someone's boat. On the left of the picture is the Stone Building where they used to manufacture Joselyn rifles and it eventually became part of the Atwood factory. The main brick building of the company hasn't been built yet. Behind the building, second from the right, you can see the top of the lighthouse tower, just above the roof. The harbor is free of boats except for the little sloop sailing near the shore."
