View of “A Summer Place”, as it was for the Designer’s Show House in 1989. A Summer Place was designed by Arnold Copper and William Strohm of Madison Avenue, NY. It was placed on the west side of the service yard, and removed after the Designer's Showhouse. This view was taken from the first floor of the Palmer House, and also shows a bit of the landscaping of the service yard, which at the time had been transformed into an herb garden.Collection
