If this is Louise Thayer's "handquilted bedspread" it was made by Louise when a girl with the help of her mother, Catherine Stanton Thayer, of Stonington. Louise's mother b. 1823 & d. after 1891. Catherine was dau. of James Stanton (1782-1860) and Desire Palmer (1786-1860).Collection
