Interviewing Immigrant Families Project by James Costa for his Eagle Scout Project, Troop 9. The first interview in the series is with Carmel Bourneuf, an immigrant from Ireland. Carmel trained as a nurse in England before coming to America at the age of 21. She has lived around the world, but came back to her favorite place (Stonington Borough). Carmel plays the guitar and the harmonica, and was learning the harp at the time of the recording. She sings a few songs, describes immigrating in the 1960's, and plays the harmonica. Two of her paintings, discussed in the video, are included with the transcript.Collection
