Photograph from the Harry Northup album (2015.019.002), black and white snapshot (with enlarged print). Caption from Harry Northrup: "This photo is a picture of a typical boat of the period. It is owned by Mr. John D'Amico seated on the port side (my grandfather). It probably had a good sized Lathrop one-cylinder engine in it. Edwin Northrup (my grandfather) is sitting forward partly hidden by the flag staff. I don't know who the ladies are, but the one on the port side could be my Aunt Marion Skinner when she was younger. My father is probably in the skiff taking the picture. Note that the boat is heading for what is now Dodson's Dock. Note the freight depot and boxcars on the right background"Collection
