Photograph taken during the fire at the Atwood/Monsanto factory on July 3, 2003. Contractors were working to renovate the factory into luxury condominiums - Stonington Commons. It appears this photograph was taken from the Town Dock, and shows the fire in progress. Stonington Breakwater restaurant is visible in front of the fire.
