Photograph taken during the Atwood/Monsanto fire of July 3, 2003, most likely from the Town Docks. Contractors were working to renovate the old factory into luxury condominiums - Stonington Commons. This photograph shows the Stonington Breakwater restaurant in the foreground, and the fire in progress at the Atwood/Monsanto building in the background. Water from the fire hoses is also visible.
