Description

17 inch composition doll, most likely made in the 1930s or 40s. No maker's mark. Looks similar to the Shirley Temple dolls, but not exact - could be a cheaper version from a local toy maker. Doll is wearing a thin silk pink floral dress, with pink suede tie shoes, knitted socks, a starched petticoat, and small matching cap with a pink tie. The doll's mouth is slightly open revealing small teeth. She is fair haired, and peek cheeked, and is wearing a bit of lipstick and eye shadow. No major cracks or chips.
