Close up view of workers rebuilding the SS Lansing in the winter of 1918-19. Snow is visible on the wooden scaffolding and deck floor. A long toothed plank at center provides some insight into the ship's construction. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
