Description

View of the SS Lansing under construction at Stonington dock c.1918. The image shows the hull under construction, and the scaffolding, ladders and braces used to secure the ship as it was worked on. This appears to be the workers entrance at the prow of the ship. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
