After the launch of the SS Lansing on May 20, 1919, a luncheon was held at Stonington Manor Inn. Image shows a large crowd of attendees gathered on the porch of the Inn. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
