Description

Ladie's 3 piece silk and cotton dress, cranberry/plum and black stripe handsewn, alterations are machine sewn a-bodice front closure, 8 handsewn buttonholes, 12 brass hooks and eyes(10 eyes remain) some have been replaced, 7 thread covered buttons, 3 sewn in place, one held by safety pin and 3 are loose small lace trim around neckline, armasage sets low from shoulder, wide V-shaped arms trimmed with frayed pleated ruffle of same material, flares at waist with same trim, back is gathered at waist with more trim lined with brown cotton alterations apparent b- over skirt- hand sewn and lined with brown muslin, right inseam pocket, cartridge pleats in back over bustle area, trimmd with frayed pleated ruffle, front measures 19 1/2 inches and back is 33 1/2 inches alterations apparent at waist c-skirt- striped silk at lower half and brown muslin at upper half, trimmed in black binding, slight train, some cartridge pleating remains at waist alteration d-fabric pieces- one panel of striped silk with lace trim 17inchesX11 inches 3 loose buttons
