Description

ecru silk and lace 2 piece wedding gown a-Bodice- button down front, fitted V shape, machine lace 3/4 sleeves with satin bows at sleeves-L neck edge-and center front, large satin bow at L hip gathered apron R front with lace trim 10 covered buttons(one missing) and ii machine made buttonholes, 2 hooks and 2 round eyes 5 seams bodice back with elaborate draping b-Skirt- asymmetrical front draping with 3 large satin ribbon bows down L front 2 rows of small pleated ruffles overlayed with machine silk lace, row at hem has 3 overlapping layers, the lst being the tan cotton lining, lower edge of lining has 9 inch stiff cotton pleated ruffle with cotton lace trim( machine stitching probably bought yardage), modest fishtail train inside back has 2 areas of hoops in drawstring casings R back pocket of cotton herringbone, cartridge pleating center back c-Petticoat- machine made, 2 rows of layered ruffle lace at hem. ecru cotton, drawstring waist, one encasing for back hoop, appears casing removed from lower back
