Black and white photograph of Howard Davis caulking a boat at the Mystic Seaport's Henry B. duPont Preservation Shipyard. Davis was born and raised in Noank, boatyards specializing in small wooden boats. He was a longtime employee of the Mystic Seaport where he specialized in building and preserving wooden boats.
