Black and white photograph and copy print, view of the train derailment caused by the 1938 hurricane. Given to the Society by Harry Northup before his death. With note: "Looking to the West at another view of the train wreck during the 1938 hurricane. Note the second car from the right sits on top of the bridge. The railroad bridge is just to the west of the Stonington Yacht Club property. You can just make out the mast of the dragger RUTH sticking up from the top left corner of the fourth passenger car. What a tangled mess of boards, planks, dislodged stones, etc., is seen in the foreground."Collection
