First Troop organized in Conn. so named Laurel for State flower. Florence Bishop & I sent for information re. Scouting and when rec'd asked Mrs. Carrington to form Troop in Stonington. This picture taken on steps at Stonington Grammar School in 1917 or 1918 I was unable to be in the picture as we were on a school trip."
