Exterior view of the bow of the SS Lansing as it was being rebuilt at Stonington between 1918 and 1919. A few workers are visible on scaffolding at the upper left. The workers entrance to the interior of the ship is visible at the bottom right of the photograph. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
