Description

Eastlake sidechair, refinished, with new strand cane seat. Simple turned legs with eight stretchers, front two turned, the rest dowels. Backrest consists of simple flat rail and decorative top with five spindles. Top rail has incised decoration. Was originally used by Stonington Jerome Anderson and his family, residents of Stonington Burrough in the late 19th century.
