Civil War Frock Jr Officer's Frock and Vest Costume a- Frock Navy wool Union coat machine made with some hand sewing 7 button front closure, one button found in pocket, brass with Ct. seal Ct militia buttons were made in Waterbury by the Scovill MFG Co. cleaning label 3-7059-9 Lue, is same as Revolutionary War costume # PH 2009.0333 mandarin collar, two inside pockets 3 buttons at sleeve, sleeve lining yellow cotton green cotton and silk quilted lining with burlap and brown cotton fabric and wool layers inside chest pockets Back- 2 buttons at waist and one each at lower edge of skirt pockets b- Vest of navy wool, machine and hand stitching 8 button closure, buttons are held by brass rings one small slanted left chest pocket natural color linen lining cleaning label same 3-7059-9 Lue Back- brown linen, center seam, tabs sewn at side seams
