Description

Exterior of the SS Lansing under construction at Stonington docks. Visible through the scaffolding are layers of the wooden hull. A few workers are standing on the scaffolding, laying planks horizontally. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
