View of “A Lady’s Chamber: Then and Now”, as it was decorated for the Designer’s Show House in 1989. This room was originally used as a bedroom for Captain Alexander S. Palmer’s sons, when the house was finished in 1852. The room was reimagined in 1989 by Michael Black Designs of East Haddam.
