View of the SS Lansing under construction at Stonington dock c.1918. The ship is full out of the water, supported by cradles and blocks. Some workers are visible on the right side of the ship at the water line. The image shows the hull under construction. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
