Description

Workers build the finishing touches on the bridge of the SS Lansing. Materials and scraps are still visible in the foreground. Photograph most likely taken in early 1919 as the vessel was nearing completion. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
