Stonington residents and visitors from New York explore the newly rebuilt SS Lansing at its launch on May 20, 1919. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. for the Nafra Company of New York. Stonington Borough is visible in the background, and the inner breakwater is visible at right. The Atwood Machine Company is visible at left.
