Description
Undated, twentieth century photograph of the Cottrell Lumber Company in Mystic, CT. Now the site of the Mystic River Park.
The main building sold a whole line of household goods. The original warehouse building housed a lamp shop. Before the era of malls, Mystic’s children went upstairs at Cottrell’s to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas.
