Description

View of the SS Lansing nearly completion at the docks in Stonington, spring 1919. The cradles and supports are still in place on the water side, and a few workers are visible on the scaffolding near the propeller. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
